Humana – Launch My Group Now 299 Eligible, Continued Expansion of PPO/TRP Plan Options

Humana has announced the following updates to Launch My Group, PPO/TRP plan options, and plan summaries. Remember to take advantage of Humana’s 2024 bonus programs to earn more in 2024!

Launch My Group

• Launch My Group has expanded from 2-99 to 2-299 eligible.
• Reminder:
  • Launch My Group delivers group numbers in as little as 72 hours and when the group number is delivered, the group is also claim-ready as it builds the group specs and member enrollment simultaneously.
  • Single Point of Contact (SPOC) will still be assigned post-installation on 100+ eligible cases.

Continued Expansion of PPO/TRP Plan Options

New Dental PPO/TRP/Prev Plus product enhancements are launching in CO, FL, IL, IN, MN, NC, TN, and VA with August 1, 2024 quotes and September 1, 2024 effective dates. These important enhancements for FLEX/2019 plans include:

• Option for extended max on FLEX plans.
• Expanded options for annual maximums, coinsurance, and deductibles.
• New $2500 maximum ortho rider on 2019 (+) plans.

These additional product options are quoting in AK, AR, AZ, CA, CT, GA, ID, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, NJ, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TX, UT, and WI, and will be rolled out in phases across other states throughout the remainder of the year. View the benefit summaries.

Refreshed Plan Summaries

• Dental and vision plan summaries will now list state-specific limitations and exclusions.
• Dental PPO, vision, and life plan summaries now have a new look with updated color schemes and icons.

Reminders

Dental
Starting with May 1, 2024 effective dates, Humana has added the following new dental calendar year maximums to their portfolio:

• $2500, $3000, $3500, $5000 (CYM’s available for 2+ group size).
• These new options will have the ‘Extended Maximum’ feature. The plan pays 30% coinsurance for the rest of the year after the member reaches their annual maximum.
• Humana now has 13 CYM options.
• UCR, INFS (In-Network Fee Schedule = MAC), and OON (Out-of-Network) options.
• Proposals include a 2-year rate guarantee with no pricing adjustment, through December 1, 2024 effective date.

Disability
Starting with June 1, 2024 effective dates:

• Coverages have been approved and rolled out for quoting in California.
• Product highlights are available on page six of the Group Benefits Marketing Toolkit.

Additional Selling Points

• Enhanced preventive services: three routine cleanings and four periodontal cleanings – paid 100%.
• Vision is a low-cost and high-value addition.
• Bundling discounts are available.
