The week after President Donald Trump delivers his first official State of the Union address, NAHU Executive Vice President and CEO Janet Trautwein invites you to attend a special edition of the ‘LIVE from NAHU’ webinar series titled, “State of the Union…and Health Policy” at 9:00 a.m. Pacific on Thursday, February 8. After a frenzied year of health policy with many fits and starts in Congress and executive actions by the Administration, Janet will recap the past year’s health policy issues and what we can expect for 2018. This will include an analysis of the president’s state of the union address as it may relate to health insurance issues, a regulatory and compliance look at the changes underway, a preview of legislative proposals expected in the coming months, and what issues NAHU is working to influence as policymakers seek to enact change ahead of the midterm elections in November.
