Covered California Agent Certification

Agents interested in representing Covered California for Small Business are required to be registered, trained and certified through Covered California. A new 1-hour certification is available to agents selling Covered California for Small Business only (does not include Individual coverage). In order to sell Individual coverage, you will need the full 8-hour certification course.

• To become certified to sell Covered California for Small Business coverage, complete the 1-hour agent certification.
• If you are already certified by Covered California to sell individual coverage, you may sell small group coverage as well. No additional certification needed.
