New Cigna + Oscar (C+O) small group sales and renewals will not be offered in 2025. At C+O’s request, all plans and rates have been removed from the quote engine. Plan summaries, enrollment and change forms, and information about Cypress Dental and our other carriers are always available through Claremont. You can request materials online at materials@claremontcompanies.com or call our broker service representatives Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at 800.696.4543.

Cypress Dental Hybrid Plan

The exclusive Cypress Hybrid plan offers members the advantages of both a PPO and DHMO. While PPO plans provide flexibility in choosing where to receive care, DHMO plans keep out-of-pocket costs low without requiring members to reach a calendar year maximum. To maximize savings, members can switch between plans each month, depending on their dental care needs.

Dual Option Dental Plans

Dual Option plans offer members the choice between a high or low plan. This flexibility allows employees to select the plan that best meets their dental care needs and out-of-pocket expenses. These plans appeal to employers who wish to provide employees with an upgrade option featuring richer benefits and lower out-of-pocket costs for a slightly higher premium, with the employee covering the difference.

Dual Option plans are offered in these formats: High/Low PPO, DHMO/PPO, DHMO/MAC, and High/Low MAC.

Voluntary Dental Plans

Many Cypress Dental plans are available on a voluntary basis, allowing employers to offer valuable benefits to their employees at no direct cost to the company. The cost of the plan is deducted from enrolled employees’ paychecks each month. Employees with dental needs can take advantage of lower group rates compared to purchasing an individual plan.

VSP Vision Plans

Add VSP vision coverage to any new Cypress Dental plan to access the vision and dental benefits through the same online portal and get one monthly bill.

Group Life and Disability Plans

The Hartford’s Group Life, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, Travel Business Life, and Critical Illness

Group Life Insurance Includes:

  • Enhanced Continuity of Coverage Clause that prevents employees from being stranded without coverage on the policy transfer date, even if they’re not actively at work on that day.
  • Living Benefit Option that accelerates the benefits of terminally ill employees or dependents up to $500,000.
  • No Interruption in Premium Waiver Elimination Period for employees who attempt to return to work for up to five days.
  • Portability Option and Conversion is offered with the life insurance product. Employees who leave their company, or are under other qualifying conditions, can take all or a portion of their coverage with them.
  • A variety of programs that give employees access to online tools and services that can help guide them through major life decisions, such as creating a will and funeral planning.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D) Includes:

  • Protection for children, spouses, and employees against losses from unforeseen covered accidents.
  • Twenty-four-hour accident coverage can be combined with group life coverage offered or purchased as a stand-alone product.
  • A valuable package of riders offering important additional coverages.
  • An array of optional benefits that allow for a customized experience.

Group Accident Lines Include:

  • Business travel accident insurance that can help cover employees traveling for business only, or for business and pleasure. Plans have no mileage limits or travel duration restrictions. Travel options include in-town, out-of-town, out-of-state, and international travel.
  • Blanket accident insurance for specialty groups such as campers, private and public school students, church groups, and more. Coverage includes Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Accidental Medical Expenses and other benefits ranging from emergency room expenses to coverage for paralysis and comas.
