Blue Shield participation requirements remain relaxed through January 31, 2021. Small business groups with 5 or more enrolled employees only require 25% participation for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
Trio HMO and Tandem PPO Plans Enroll as Few as One Member
Participation requirements are waived for groups of 1 – 100 eligible employees that offer only Trio HMO and Tandem PPO medical plans. Tandem-only participation is being added to the relaxed participating program for new sales as of October 1, 2020.
